No Player Left Behind
Blackhawk Lacrosse is a non-profit organization created to provide an affordable experience that promotes the development and growth of lacrosse in Hanover and surrounding areas through education, dedication, and leadership.
Blackhawk Lacrosse is helping promote "No Lacrosse Player Left Behind". As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, it is very important for us to give back to the community. We have established a fund to allow those children who, due to financial constraints, would not normally be able to participate in sports activities.
To qualify for the program, families should meet one or more of the below criteria:
- Families whose children are eligible for free school lunches or breakfasts
- Families who have incurred significant loss of income due to severe illness or injury in the family
- Families who have incurred unusual expenses due to fire, flood, storm damage, or other natural disasters
- Families who have encountered other emergency situations that prevent you from being able to afford program fees
If you meet any of the above criteria, send an email to Chuck Malpass. Please use the subject line "No Lacrosse Player Left Behind" and summarize your current situation. Requests will be taken throughout the season and approvals will be given by Blackhawk Lacrosse board member consensus.
*All requests are confidential and will not be discussed outside board meeting.
We encourage families to apply as soon as possible, as there are limited number of waivers available each season. We will do our best to respond to your request in a timely basis.
