Changes to the Blackhawk Board of Directors
Blackhawk Lacrosse would like to announce a number of recent changes to our Board of Directors.
The first is a change in our Board President. Shane Roberson is stepping down after serving as President since 2018. As the Board President, Shane was responsible for the oversight of the entire Blackhawk Lacrosse Program. He has coached at every level in the girls game and also officiates at the youth, high school, and college levels. He has served on the Board since 2015. On behalf of all of Blackhawk Lacrosse and especially the Board of Directors, we wish to thank Shane for the many years of service and leadership in his varied roles. While we are certain to see him on the field, he will be missed on the Board.
Stepping into the role of President is Chuck Malpass, who has served on the Board since 2016. Chuck has coached every level of girls lacrosse in addition to leading the Girls Beginner Clinics in the Fall and Winter Seasons. Chuck had been serving as Vice President of the Girls Division and keeping lines on all the fields as our Field Coordinator.
With Chuck stepping in as the new Board President, Blackhawk would also like to announce that Bobby Naglic is now serving as our Vice President of the Girls Division. In his new role, Bobby will provides oversight of all our Girls Division programs. Bobby has been on the Board since 2017 serving as our Equipment Coordinator, making sure we have everything needed to pull off a successful season. He also has coached every level of the Girls Division over the years.
Finally, Blackhawk would like to introduce our newest Board Member, Josh Duncan. Josh has joined the Board as an At-Large member in 2023. He brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to Blackhawk and will help to lead the program into the future. Josh also volunteers as a Girls Division coach.

This position provides oversight of the Boys Division programs.
